Come celebrate the birth of French democracy,

                                            ...and support a worthy cause!

The Comité Tricolore invites you to its annual "Bastille Day at the Embassy of France", where an evening of feasting, music, and dance awaits you!

Take an imaginary trip to France as you visit different Parisian "arrondissements" (neighborhoods) throughout the evening. Cocktails and a silent auction will begin the festivities, and you will have a chance to bid on restaurant and hotel vouchers, paintings and other pieces of art, as well as luxury items.

In our four cafés, chefs from some of the area's most prestigious kitchens (Brasserie Les Halles, Cuisine Solutions, Sofitel Washington DC Lafayette Square, Willard Intercontinental), and breads by Breadline and Pan-O-Rama will provide delectable buffets. A delicious dessert service (Pâtisserie Poupon Washington DC/Baltimore, Restaurant-Pâtisserie Prâline, and Cacao Fine European Chocolate & Pastry) will follow at "L'Avenue des Champs-Elysées", and three open bars will serve a variety of refreshing spirits and soft drinks. In the Embassy gardens, the chefs from the French Culinary School will present cooking demonstrations on a wide screen, allowing guests to watch the culinary magic up close. The chefs will reveal some of their secrets, and you will be invited to taste their mouth-watering creations.

Sway to the sizzling Mediterranean sounds of the band Gibraltar, then Bobby and the Street Rods will spin the best retro, swing, and Top 40 music, "à la mode Parisienne"!!!
And as the night draws to a glorious close, we will draw the lucky raffle ticket - included with your admission - to award a round trip package for two to Paris on Air France, including accommodations, an evening at the legendary Moulin Rouge and a private visit "behind the scene" at the "Château de Chantilly".
